These recipes will never make it in the Good Housekeeping magazine or the Eat Healthy for Your Heart books, but they were satisfying, yet comforting to me during the lean years. What I mean by comfort is not to make me feel better, but to make me feel full, with flavor. What I have found is that, when I add flavor to my food, it distracts me from my triggers. That is my interpretation of comfort food
No measuring means you cannot go wrong. I added measurements to give you an idea of how much for 1 to 2 servings. Everything is by sight and touch. Enjoy not having to be precise.
